Hey! My name's Frankie and I'm the owner of Cakes & Carousels.

My love for baking began as a simple hobby, baking with my Mum and Grandparents on the weekend. I began designing modern buttercream celebration cakes for friends and family and with my loved ones encouragement and enthusiasm behind me, I decided to pursue baking as a career. I attended a course on cake baking in London and well, the rest came down to practicing and perfecting techniques and recipes!

 

All of my bakes are 100% handmade, with a lot of the caramels and jams being made from scratch too!

I love experimenting with new flavours and designs and I pride myself in taking great care and paying close attention to detail when creating and decorating. I can work with you to develop something completely bespoke and exquisite.

One of my greatest values is to support other local Yorkshire businesses too, by using local ingredients where possible.
