Postal Order Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Cakes & Carousels you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Cakes & Carousels will not disclose any personal information about customers to third party businesses or organisations.

We reserve the right to use photographs of orders on our website, blog, and social media pages.

We require payment in full before we can start preparing your order.

 

Please ensure you are home or have organised a safe place to have your order left. Orders cannot be returned back to us and must be left at the delivery location. Reattempted deliveries cannot be made and we cannot provide refunds at this point.

Cakes & Carousels cannot accept returns. In the unlikely event that you have received the incorrect product or your order is of unsatisfactory quality, a refund or replacement may be given. You must notify us of any issues within 24 hours of receipt of goods.

In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, we may need to cancel your order. If such a situation should occur a full refund will be given.

If you need to amend any part of your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try our best to make changes to your order but this cannot always be guaranteed. 

If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as quickly as possible. However, if we have already begun production of your order, we cannot cancel or refund your order.

 

Bespoke Order Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Cakes & Carousels you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

Cakes & Carousels will not disclose any personal information about customers to third party businesses or organisations.

 

We reserve the right to use photographs of orders on our website, blog, and social media pages.

 

When ordering a bespoke cake, we require a deposit of at least 50% to confirm your order. The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before the collection/delivery date. If you place an order for a cake to be collected/delivered in the next two weeks or less, we require payment in full to confirm your order. 

 

Once an order has been placed online or by phone, payment is required for confirmation of the order. Until this time, your order cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to cancel any order still awaiting payment up to one week before the delivery/collection date. Invoices may still remain payable, as we may have had to turn away other orders in order to prepare your order.

 

Upon collection/delivery we provide you with information on how to transport and store the cake. Once your order has been collected/delivered, Cakes & Carousels cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake. All deliveries are made by hand and we can give you a courtesy phone call or text message when we are around 30 minutes away from you if you require it. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at the delivery address. If there is no-one available to receive your order, we cannot attempt to re-deliver later on. We will do our best to leave it in a safe place/with a neighbour, but we cannot accept any liability for the treatment of your order once it has been left at the address you have given us.

 

Cakes & Carousels cannot accept returns. In the unlikely event that you have received the incorrect product or your order is of unsatisfactory quality, a refund or replacement may be given. Upon delivery/collection, we will ask you to sign a disclaimer form stating that you are satisfied with the condition and quality of the order. From then on, it will be your responsibility to transport/keep the order safe and we cannot be held liable for any damages. If we attempt delivery when you are not at the delivery address and we have to leave your order in a safe place, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt if you are not satisfied. We cannot accept liability for complaints made after this time.

 

In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative Cake Decorator. We will make every effort to secure a replacement cake designer. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

 

If you need to cancel or amend any part of your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try our best to make changes to your order but this cannot always be guaranteed. Orders cancelled 28 days or more before the collection/delivery date will receive a full refund. Orders cancelled 8-27 days before the collection/delivery date will receive a 50% refund. Orders cancelled 7 days or less before the collection/delivery date cannot be refunded.
